The Brick Hick, then got a Dim Whim,

and Avowed How, a Betroth Oath,

A Ring Fling, for this Frilly Filly,

In a Wed Shed, on a Sunny Sunday.

Every day, the Pretty Kitty,

Made a Fast Pass, of the Crude Dude,

Strutting her Stuff, in the Gay Array,

and the Low Joe, would Cheer at her Rear.

On a Moody Tuesday, The Brick Hick made a Lazy Sail,

On a Gyp Ship, and won a Load of Dough.

He got a Bar Car, to give her a Lift as a Gift,

But she Denied the Ride, Hied on By.

In Loony June, he made a Zip Trip,

to a Card Ward, and won a Pot of Paper,

He made a Trot and Bought, a Pot of Posies,

She Sniffed at the Gift, and Passed Fast.

He Invested the Rest, in a Fir Firm,

Which got some Fed Bread, and he Made a Mint.

He bought the Masonry Company, where he Paved and Slaved.

He bought a Ruby Ring, and a Gross of Roses,

Went to the Snitty Kitty, with Hat in Hand,

He Swore his Ardor, Professed his Faith,

Asked her for a Match, and to Slate a Date.

She Replied with a Chide, I am the Girl with the dowdy Curl,

Which you Shirked and Smirked, while I Flirted Hurt,

I am the Rotter Daughter, of your Next Door Neighbor,

Which you Scorned in School, while I Loved like a Dove,

For what does a Brick Hick, have a Dire Desire,

A Rich Bitch, in a Brown Gown and Blue Shoes,

Or the Rotter Daughter of the Next Door Neighbor,

The Girl with the dowdy Curl, and the Love of a Dove?

The Low Fellow, Sold the firm for Gold,

Does a Mine Grind, in a Coal Hole.

His House Spouse, the Girl with the dowdy Curl,

And Brown Gown and Blue Shoes,

Scours the House, Tends Ten Children,

And every day, makes a Fast Pass at the Crude Dude.
